Desert Storm
We are delighted to announce that Storm Gold has been sold to HH Sheika Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum of Dubai. "Storm has been a great ambassador for the breed" said Tina "He has won most of the coverted prizes in the ridden world and we hope that Storm brings Her Highness as much joy and pleasure as he has brought us. He will be sadly missed, but we are comfoted by the fact that his new home in Dubai will be of a standard that Storm has earned."
We would like to take this opportuinty to thank Terresa and Alan Sheward for breeding such a maginificent horse and to all those who have supported and been involved in Storms Career. There are far to many to mention, but you know who you are.
STORM GOLD a big typey correct moving horse with lots of presence was bred by Teresa Sheward. At 4 years old and just 2 weeks broken, he went out to his first first show to take the red rosette in the Ridden Arabian Class. During his first year as novice he won at the British Arabian Championships with full marks qualifying him for the Horse of the Year Show 2001. Since this win there have been many more victories climaxing with reserve ridden gelding at HOYS 2003, attaining highest marks for performance.
His sire, IMAD was Ridden Arabian Champion at Horse of the Year Show 2000, and has produced top quality riding stock including STORM GOLDs full brother SILENT STORM (Top class ridden stallion, twice qualified for HOYS). STARDOM the Sire of STARLITE ROSE, STORM GOLDs dam, had a very successful show ring career both inhand and under saddle, including reserve champion junior male at Haydock Northern show as a 2 year old, and many wins at major county and regional group shows.
