Desert Storm
We are delighted to announce that Storm Gold has been sold to HH Sheika Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum of Dubai. "Storm has been a great ambassador for the breed" said Tina "He has won most of the coverted prizes in the ridden world and we hope that Storm brings Her Highness as much joy and pleasure as he has brought us. He will be sadly missed, but we are comfoted by the fact that his new home in Dubai will be of a standard that Storm has earned."
We would like to take this opportuinty to thank Terresa and Alan Sheward for breeding such a maginificent horse and to all those who have supported and been involved in Storms Career. There are far to many to mention, but you know who you are.
Breeding
Tina Bennett is committed to breeding top quality ridden Arab horses and offers at stud SHAMIL, her KUBINEC grandson stallion, as he possess the main attributes she believes are required by a ridden horse, performance, type, conformation and attitude. Already through her breeding program she has produced two potential national/international ridden horses, AKLAH FANTASIA and AKLAH KESTREL which both possess excellent type, superb movement and temperament, from her foundation brood mare VIROLET.
This has been achieved through careful consideration of the dam and sires breeding, both SHAMIL and VIROLET possess excellent type and conformation. SHAMIL is Russian cross Spanish, the Russian element gives the big open movement and the Spanish element gives the temperament, this crossed with VIROLET provides the performance Tina is looking for, which comes from the English Crabbet breeding.
Tina is always looking to the future and considers that the above breeding combination is excellent and the stock already on the ground confirms this. The future intentions are to introduce some Egyptian breeding which should produce that extra prettiness making the perfect modern ridden horse.
