Desert Storm
We are delighted to announce that Storm Gold has been sold to HH Sheika Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum of Dubai. "Storm has been a great ambassador for the breed" said Tina "He has won most of the coverted prizes in the ridden world and we hope that Storm brings Her Highness as much joy and pleasure as he has brought us. He will be sadly missed, but we are comfoted by the fact that his new home in Dubai will be of a standard that Storm has earned."
We would like to take this opportuinty to thank Terresa and Alan for breeding such a maginificent horse and to all those who have supported and been involved in Storms Career. There are far to many to mention, but you know who you are.
CHAMPIAAN is an exceptional colt that we have had the privilege to purchase. He was bred by Paul and Frances Atkinson and Nadia Howard-Price at Cullinghurst Stud in Norfolk. He is an impressive individual, he has a wonderful pedigree and he has the strength of type and conformation as well as an exceptional temperament.
The sire of Champiaan is the Multi-International Champion PSADISHO IBN ESSTASHAN, whose sire ESSTASHAN (multi-champion) is full brother to the Triple Crown Winner, the fabulous ESSTEEMA. ESTEEMA is by the Illustrious World, Nations Cup & European Champion ESSTEEM, (son of the U.S. National Champion stallion FAME V.F) Psadisho's dam is the fabulous, Top International Champion mare, PSAYADA BINT PSYCHE, one of the most beautiful daughters of the renowned PADRON'S PSYCHE. Psayada is out of the gorgeous Polish bred, Michalow mare, ZANETA, who was imported to the UK some years ago.
Champiaan's dam, CHRAPKA was also imported from the Michalow Polish State Stud and she won several European Qualifying Championships before settling down to be a broodmare-supreme. She stems from the same source as Michalow's illustrious family of EMIGRACJA, world famous for their quality. The reigning US National Champion Mare, EL DORADA - and countless other World Class show horses, are from the same female line.
The other horses in Champiaan's pedigree are too numerous to name individually but together they represent the cream of top, contemporary, international pedigrees. Champiaan has to be considered as having a fantastic future ahead of him. He has already lived up to his name being unbeaten in the show ring to date - champion colt EVERY TIME shown 2007 and qualified for the European Championships.
He will be staying with Paul and Frances to be shown in 2008, so watch out for him in the ring!
